Driving me up the Wal*Mart

So I'm checking out at Wal-Mart today (Yeah, I'm as surprised as you, but their food prices are the best in town), and I'm in the self checkout. Up ahead is mom with little kid in tow, and about a dozen items. Mom is scanning stuff and putting it into the bag, while daughter is picking up stuff. Mom says "I know you want to help, but the system is being stubborn, and I need to do this myself."

Next thing you see, daughter picks up the VERY SAME item she put down and waves it about.

I can understand the one warning, after all, the girl was young enough to not know better. But right after she was told otherwise, she kept right on doing what she was doing. That just might be my number one rule in the classroom.

Future students, you all have been warned. (Though in all likelyhood, you're too young to be reading this.)
